Offline Play

Firefly Garden, Koi Pond, Moth Night, Laser Lounge, Dream Lab, and custom worlds already installed on the iPad play locally without a network connection or account.

Dream Lab is a separate offline feature. It remixes bundled assets and never uses the Custom World Builder, ChatGPT, or cloud generation.

Information Used for KittLume Accounts

If you use KittLume Pro, KittLume processes your name, email address, KittLume account identifier, authentication credentials, App Store subscription status, and purchase identifiers. This information is linked to your account and used only to sign you in, protect the service, verify KittLume Pro, sync your library, enforce your limits, and support account deletion.

Apple handles payment details. KittLume receives signed transaction and entitlement information, not your payment card or bank information.

Custom World Builder Content

KittLume stores the world names, concepts, visual descriptions, draft progress, generation records, generated image candidates, accepted assets, completed world packages, storage usage, and generation usage you create. This content is linked to your account so drafts can resume and completed worlds can sync across your devices and the KittLume companion app in ChatGPT.

Custom worlds are private to your account. KittLume does not provide a public feed, messaging, sharing between users, advertising, or data brokerage.

ChatGPT Image Generation

Image generation requires you to connect an eligible ChatGPT/Codex subscription through OpenAI’s sign-in flow. KittLume does not request, accept, or support OpenAI API keys.

KittLume stores the minimum ChatGPT subscription credentials required by the pinned Codex App Server, encrypted on the KittLume backend. Your world brief and the current server-authored asset prompt are sent to OpenAI to generate one image candidate. KittLume does not expose general chat, coding, browsing, shell, or agent tools in this workflow.

You can disconnect ChatGPT images at any time from KittLume Account. Disconnecting deletes the saved KittLume copy of the ChatGPT connection credentials without deleting your ChatGPT account.

Service Providers

• WorkOS provides KittLume account authentication.
• Apple provides App Store purchases, subscription status, and subscription management.
• OpenAI provides user-authorized ChatGPT/Codex image generation.
• Railway hosts KittLume’s application service, database, private object storage, health data, and operational logs.

These providers process information only for the service functions described above and under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

Local Storage

The iPad stores settings such as selected world, activity level, prey count, visual effects preference, safety-guide dismissal, your signed-in session in the system keychain, and downloaded custom-world packages.

Signing out removes that account’s downloaded custom worlds and KittLume session from the iPad. Fixed worlds and Dream Lab remain available.

Retention and Deletion

Account records, drafts, generated assets, completed worlds, entitlement records, and encrypted ChatGPT connection credentials are retained while your KittLume account exists. Generation records are also used to enforce the published monthly limit.

You can delete individual worlds, cancel an unfinished draft, disconnect ChatGPT images, or delete the entire KittLume account in the app. Account deletion removes the KittLume account and associated active data from KittLume’s systems. Apple subscriptions are managed separately and must be canceled through Apple if you want billing to stop.

Security and Network Operations

KittLume uses encrypted network connections, private object storage, account-scoped access checks, and authenticated encryption for saved ChatGPT credentials. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.

The service may process a network address transiently to rate-limit abuse. KittLume does not retain request-content analytics or use this information for advertising, tracking, or location profiling.

Children

The Custom World Builder is a human control and is not intended for children under 13. OpenAI requires ChatGPT users to be at least 13, or the minimum age required in their country, and users under 18 need permission from a parent or legal guardian. Adults should supervise all cat play.

App Store Privacy Summary

Data linked to you for app functionality: name, email address, user ID, purchase history, other user content, gameplay content, and product interaction.

Tracking: No.

Third-party advertising: No.

Analytics SDKs: No.

Network access is optional for core play and required for account, purchase verification, generation, cloud sync, and the companion ChatGPT app.

The app includes an Apple privacy manifest for required API declarations.
